Keeping the people doing the science safe

I knew from a very early age that I wanted to be involved in the sciences. That originally started as wanting to be a doctor, and then working in research. Now I’ve found my true calling – supporting research by keeping people safe. I work for a laboratory safety consulting company and head up the on-call clients team. This means that I have 120+ clients who can reach out for help at any time. It’s been great, actually, as I never know what the day will bring and that keeps me on my toes.

I specialize in biosafety, radiation safety, and ergonomics.
